01 Why Johar Saathi

A fairer ride, by design

Designed around Jharkhand's people, roads, and realities — not a one-size-fits-all metro template.

01

Zero Commission

A flat daily subscription model instead of per-ride cuts. Drivers keep what they earn.

02

Built for Jharkhand

From Ranchi's urban center to Jamshedpur's heavy industries — local roads, local needs.

03

Safe & Verified

Driver verification, an in-app SOS and trip sharing are part of what we're building for launch.

04

Honest Pricing

Upfront fares with no hidden surge traps, and both cash and UPI accepted. Fares will be published before launch.

Our model

How zero commission works

Ride apps usually keep a slice of every fare. We're building the opposite: a driver pays one small flat subscription, and the fare itself stays untouched.

Subscription pricing and ride fares are still being finalised. We'll publish them before launch — no guesswork numbers here.

1

A driver subscribes

One small flat subscription to use the platform — not a cut from each trip.

2

A rider pays the fare

Shown upfront, by cash or UPI, with no surge multiplier layered on top.

3

The driver keeps the fare

All of it. Our commission on a completed ride is zero — that's the whole point.

02 Tourist Saathi

झारखंड घूमो, अपने साथी के साथ

Jharkhand is the destination. We're building the ride.

Sal forests, waterfalls, plateau sunsets and temple towns — most of them sit a few hours from Ranchi, and most of them are still hard to reach without a vehicle you trust. Tourism isn't a side feature for us. It's one of the reasons we're building Johar Saathi.

Netarhat

Latehar

Known as the Queen of Chotanagpur — a high plateau of pine and sal where people drive up for the sunrise, stay for the sunset, and detour to the waterfalls scattered around it.

The list keeps going

These are on our route map too. Tell us where you'd travel first and it helps us decide which itineraries to build.

Dassam Falls Jonha Falls Lodh Falls Hazaribagh Sanctuary Maithon Dam Rajrappa McCluskieganj Tagore Hill

Local guides, optional

We're building guide tie-ups so you can add someone who knows the place, not just the road to it.

Half-day to multi-day

A waterfall run after lunch or a three-day loop across the state — the same app, planned end to end.

Drivers who know the way

Ghat roads and forest routes need local knowledge. Tourism trips are matched to drivers who have it.

Tour routes and packages are still being planned — none of these trips are bookable yet. Join the waitlist and we'll tell you when tourism booking opens.

The fair balance

The cheapest ride in the city — without hurting a driver's pocket

Rides usually get cheaper by squeezing drivers. That's the part we're designing out. A small flat subscription replaces per-ride commission, so the fare can stay low and the driver still keeps every rupee of it.

For riders

Fares kept low

no commission padding built into the price

  • Fare shown upfront — no hidden surge
  • Pay easily by cash or UPI
  • Same comfort, honest price
Fair for both

For drivers

100% kept

zero commission on every fare

  • No per-ride cut — ever
  • Just a small flat daily subscription
  • Every rupee you earn stays yours

Lower fares for Jharkhand. Full earnings for its drivers. That's the Johar Saathi way.
